Former Lebanese Minister of Culture Ghazi Aridi: "The history, the land, the birthplace [of Jesus], the mission, Jesus, Jerusalem, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Islamic Jesus, the diversity, and with it the suffering, the sacrifice, the agony, the cross on which Jesus was crucified – the act of crucifying the Palestinians has never ceased but continued in one way or another."

Jesus was a Jew according to Christian tradition, and the Palestinians have no history prior to the modern period.
