PA Security Forces train in Egypt and Jordan to restore control in the Gaza Strip

Secretary-General of the International Academic Campaign against the Israeli Occupation and Apartheid Ramzi Oudeh: "The information I have, although unofficial, says that… there is a large number from the Palestinian [PA] Security Forces [such as] police forces that are training in Egypt and Jordan, and they may number in the thousands. They will return to the Gaza Strip and restore control over it. It is also impossible to imagine stabilization forces without the presence of a substantial Egyptian force... Some of the Islamic states like Indonesia and Pakistan may send small forces and the like, but the essential force will be a burden on the Palestinian and Egyptian forces, the major burden will be on them... Regarding the American force, its purpose is supervision, meaning its purpose is guidance and supervision."
