"We want compensation from the colonialist states, especially Great Britain" - Jordanian commentator

Writer and political commentator in Jordan Imran Al-Khatib: "We want that what is due to us be realized, namely the end of the occupation (i.e., Israel), and compensation to the Palestinian people by the colonialist states, especially Great Britain that took for itself the Palestinian wealth from the Palestinian treasury in those years and confiscated assets. The one who aided the Israeli occupation in carrying out [Jewish] immigration and establishing settlements is the British occupation state, British colonialism, with the support of the Western states, foremost among them the US."
