Fatah against international demands to stop Pay-for-Slay: “If one penny remains in the [PA] state treasury, it will be paid” to the terrorists and their families
Fatah Nablus Branch Secretary Muhammad Hamdan: "We tell you (i.e., terrorists and terrorists' families) on behalf of the national action factions and on behalf of the PLO that we are all with you and we will continue to be with you until we fulfill all your demands. We will not agree in any way to the harming of your moral and material rights… The international community, instead of standing with the victim [Palestinians], we see them standing with the executioner [Israel] and pressuring the Palestinian political system to harm the rights of our wounded, prisoners, and Martyrs (i.e., terrorists). We tell them that what was paid in blood – no one can harm it. I rely here on His Honor [PA] President [Mahmoud Abbas], who said on more than one occasion and from the UN podium that if there remains one penny in the [PA] state treasury, it will be paid to the relatives of the wounded, the prisoners, and the Martyrs. Today we tell you, Your Honor the president, on behalf of our wounded, prisoners, and Martyrs, that we are with you and behind you against all these pressures."
