Abbas’ advisor instructs world imams to stress religious aspect of conflict
PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas' Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations Mahmoud Al-Habbash: "As long as the religious legal scholars impart to the nation's consciousness the Hadith of Prophet [Muhammad]: 'A group of my nation will remain adhering to the truth and will prevail over their enemies. Those who oppose them will not harm them until Allah's command arrives. They said: Where are they, Messenger of Allah? [Muhammad] said: In Jerusalem and its surroundings.' As long as our consciousness is based… on these sacred texts, on this divine revelation, Palestine will not be lost, Jerusalem will not be lost, and the nation will not lose its compass."
