First Palestinian state, then end of Zionism – Lebanese politician

Lebanese Labor Party Secretary Zuheir Hawari: "Israel must be forced to acknowledge that there is a living Palestinian people who has been struggling since the establishment of the Zionist enterprise and will continue to fight to obtain its rights and to reach a democratic state where the Jew will no longer be the ruler and the Palestinian the ruled. It is possible that the Palestinian will be the ruler because he is a native of the land… All factors must be provided that will enable resolve for the Palestinian people to force Israel to take a basic step back and agree to the establishment of a Palestinian state. After that, of course, the conflict will continue endlessly, or until the end of the Zionist movement."
