PA education official defends use of PA map that erases Israel

Official PA TV reporter: "The occupation (i.e., Israeli) soldiers invaded all the classrooms in all the schools... and confiscated educational materials including maps of Palestine." …

Head of PA Directorate of Education in North Hebron Bassem Jaber: "They confiscated... maps of Palestine. This is the map of Palestine, and they asked [us] why we didn't write the word Israel on it? We are in the State of Palestine, and this is the map of Palestine, and we educate our children according to the Palestinian [PA] curriculum."
