Former Israeli Arab MP: Israel’s “colonialist project” is to “erase Arab Palestinian history”

Official PA TV host: "The Israeli narrative attempts to erase any Arab Islamic character, both in the areas of the Interior (i.e., Palestinian term for Israel) and in Jerusalem."

Former Israeli Arab Parliament Member Mtanes Shihadeh: "This is part of the Israeli colonialist project, as it is intended to erase what was in the past, erase the history, erase the culture, erase the Arab Palestinian identity from all areas of historical Palestine… Unfortunately, in the 1948 areas within the Interior, the successes are greater, because the [Israeli] government here does what it wants."
