PMW Director: The PA educated their children to celebrate Hamas’ Oct. 7 massacre

Channel 14 host: "We continue with our segment monitoring Palestinian media. With us is [PMW Director] Itamar Marcus, good morning to you."

PMW Director Itamar Marcus: "Good morning."

Host: "So what are you bringing us this morning?"

Itamar: "I brought something very, very important that is not known to the Israeli public. The great danger to Israel in the coming years will not be Hamas, because the world recognizes the severity of Hamas, the danger of Hamas. The danger is from the PA, and the whole world, most of the world, recognizes the PA as legitimate. There are politicians here in Israel who still see the PA as legitimate. They are politicians who are likely to be in the government in the future. What I brought today are some videos from the celebrations of Oct. 7, [2023] from the PA schools. In my opinion, there is nothing that shows more the severity of the PA's evil, how they educated their children to view Oct. 7."

Student: "We woke up to the sounds of laughter. There are among us those who thought it was a dream, but it is a beautiful dream from which they never want to wake... On Saturday, [Oct. 7,] the resisting people returned to its land... It was impossible to express the feelings in our hearts, and we never imagined the pride in our people that was on our faces. The sense of honor that enveloped us when their word was one of liberation and confrontation is indescribable."

Student: "October, month of blood, you have arrived, welcome. October, do not leave easily. October, teach them a lesson."

Host: "I have a feeling, that even various elements in the [Israeli state] attorney's office would not oppose it if the PA were to take control of the Gaza Strip territories..."

Itamar Marcus: "That's exactly the problem. I think you're right, there are people who still see them as a moderate body. The two short videos you just saw are part of a huge study we will publish on the Oct. 7 celebrations in the PA schools in the weeks and months after Oct. 7. It shows how the whole world was shocked by what happened, and [how] the PA celebrated. These two children are just the tip of the iceberg of the messages that were conveyed to the children. We need to understand that the danger from the PA is great. Why? Because we are fighting against them with our hands tied because the world recognizes them as moderate. There was also a long period that we fought against Hamas with our hands tied. Now the world knows Hamas, so they are no longer a danger, we can get rid of them. But the PA – as long as the world and Israel think it is moderate, we are in danger from them in the long term."
