Gazans blame Hamas for murdering family member

Muhammad Saftawi: "I'm the brother of Hisham. We live in the central Gaza Strip.. Yesterday, Oct. 17, [2025], we were surprised to find that [Hamas] gunmen surrounded my brother Hisham's house… Their number was about 50 gunmen, all masked, with military equipment… They [Hamas] shot at him, and then took him to the hospital and left him there… Anyone who knows the Gaza Strip knows that the only armed force that attacks people's homes are groups affiliated with Hamas. We, the family members, hold Hamas fully responsible for this heinous crime."
