Official PA TV host: "The [Israeli] demands for the execution of Palestinian prisoners (i.e., terrorists) are not new….Now it has been approved and transferred to the [Israeli] Parliament plenum for a first reading vote... How severe is such a law?" …

Expert on Prisoners' Affairs Hassan Abd Rabbo: "The approval of such a law is considered a clear violation of international humanitarian law and the Fourth Geneva Convention…if we consider this matter as [being about] Prisoners of War, then they are protected according to the Fourth Geneva Convention."
