Abbas: “We won’t make the mistakes of '48, nor of '67… This is our country”

PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas: "When it comes to our fate, the future of our cause, our land, and our people – no! A thousand times no. Now we have said to Trump and others: No! We are staying here, and we will not make the mistakes of the past. We will not make the mistakes of '48, nor the mistakes of '67. We are staying here [despite] the occupation, the settlement, whatever may be. We are staying! We will not leave this land. This is our country. We don't take orders from anyone... We can say "no" to anyone.
