PA denies importance of Western Wall for Jews prior to Balfour Declaration 1917

Official PA narrator and text on screen: "The Jews call it the Wailing Wall, because their prayers next to it are conducted in the form of crying and lamentation… It served the Jews as a place of worship only after the cursed Balfour Declaration was issued in 1917. The Palestinians noticed the Jewish danger in the area of the Al-Buraq Wall (i.e., the Western Wall of the Temple Mount), and set out in the Al-Buraq Rebellion (i.e., 1929 Arab Riots, 133 Jews murdered) in which dozens of Palestinians died as Martyrs, the most prominent of them being Fuad Hijazi, Muhammad Jamjoum, and Ataa Al-Zir (i.e., murderers of Jews), and many Zionists were killed."

Jews have been praying at the Western Wall since they were given permission to do so in 1546 at the latest.
