The US funds all Israel’s wars because it “planted it in the region to realize its interests” – Egyptian academic

Egyptian lecturer on international relations Dr. Hamed Fares: "Every day the US is funding the expenses of Israel's [war]."

Dr. Hamed Fares: "The US and also the West in general. Not only the US, but the main factor funding Israel in this war, not only against the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian cause, is the US… [Israel's] war in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen – who funded all this? The one who clearly funds Israel [is the US]. The problem with this funding is not in its material value but rather in its moral value, because you [the US] are funding for genocide… The biggest driving factor and funder of this war is the US... The US is creating a new Middle East [through] the Israeli occupation state… Israel constitutes a forward base for the US in the region. [The US] planted it in the region to realize its interests that are to fragment the peoples."
