Palestinian state can use terror as defense according to UN Charter - Tunisian journalist
Tunisian journalist Murad Alalah: "Our position as Tunisians is supporting the idea of historical Palestine.
Today there are unfair dictates and conditions that some parties are hinting at, such as imposing this or that person as the rulers of the Palestinian state, disarming the Palestinian weapons etc. One of the foundations of sovereignty is that a state has the tools to defend itself. When a state is recognized, it must be provided with guarantees for the existence of the state. When talking about resistance (i.e., terrorism), this too is a legitimate right. The UN Charter and the Declaration of Human Rights speak about the peoples' right to resist occupation and colonialism…
It is a matter of time. The current generation may not merit to see the establishment of the [Palestinian] state, but future generations will see how history does justice with them and that the enemy entity (i.e., Israel) is destined to disappear, and historical Palestine will return to its owners."
