PA minister: “Hamas has no governmental role” in Gaza after war is over
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Varsen Aghabekian Shahin: "Hamas has no governmental role on the day after in the Gaza Strip (i.e., when Oct. 7 war is over). Hamas needs to hand over its weapons to the Palestinian [PA] Security Forces because we do not want these weapons under our rule. We do not want an armed Palestinian state."
