Report: Roadmap for Palestinian Authority reform – 10 essential and quantifiable steps

All countries agree that the Palestinian Authority must be reformed, but none have defined what reform is. Some demand increased transparency and less corruption, but PA corruption did not cause over 80% of Palestinians to support Oct. 7, nor did it cause 98% to feel "proud as a Palestinian" about Oct. 7 and its aftermath, nor did it cause the Palestinian population to embrace Hamas. A true reform must eliminate the PA's hate and terror-promoting mechanisms that are imbued everywhere in PA-controlled society. The PA's portrayal of Jews as enemies of Allah and humanity, denying Israel the right to exist and denying Jews the right to life, supporting and rewarding terrorism, and glorifying the killing of Jews/Israelis as nationalist and Islamic acts—all must be expunged from the PA world.

Palestinian Media Watch has authored a Roadmap for Palestinian Authority reform – 10 essential and quantifiable steps that define necessary changes and the ways to implement them. Without reform in each of the 10 categories, the PA will remain a terror-supporting entity.

PMW calls on the US, Israel, and the countries that have recognized a Palestinian state while linking it to reform to notify the Palestinian Authority that this Roadmap must be implemented before reform can be considered to have begun.
