Senior Fatah official: Hamas should become part of the PLO to avoid being called terrorists

Fatah official Bassem Al-Tamimi: The Hamas movement, in its current circumstances, is defined by many on the global level as a terrorist movement. This makes it difficult for Hamas to be able to secure rights for our people and to stop what is happening [the war] independently. Therefore, I think there should be a comprehensive national partnership under the umbrella of the PLO.
