“The Palestinian people appreciates” former Grand Mufti and Nazi ally and “what he gave the Palestinian cause”
Author of Haj Amin Al-Husseini Tayseer Jabara: "When Britain pursued the rebels, Haj Amin [Al-Husseini] (i.e., Nazi ally and Hitler associate), and the self-sacrificing fighters, [Al-Husseini] fled to Germany, from Iran to Germany. In Germany he met with Hitler, and Hitler told him: 'Establish - as long as we are in World War II - establish a [military] division with which you will help us [that is composed] of Muslims from North Africa. We promise you to cancel the Balfour Promise (i.e., Declaration) and to establish a Palestinian state, and that you will be its ruler.' Haj Amin agreed to this."
