PA official: Were Hamas successful we would support it even if another 50,000 Palestinians had to die

Tulkarem District Governor and Fatah Revolutionary Council member Abdallah Kmeil: "If it [Hamas] were bringing about the achievement of the national goals and goals that Hamas has declared, we would support it, even if another 50,000 Palestinians would die as Martyrs. If the result of all this was liberation from the burden of the occupation (i.e., Israel), it would be fine. But the problem is that you are facing a force or faction [Hamas] that behaves unwisely with all the means that it uses."
