Abbas’ advisor: “Israel aims to control the entire Arab and Islamic region”
PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas' Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations Mahmoud Al-Habbash: "Palestine and the Palestinian people are the first line of defense for the Arab and Islamic nation as a whole. Israel is not only targeting the Palestinian people, but rather [aims] to control the entire region. We need Arab and Islamic support so we will be able to continue our resolve against this occupation (i.e., Israel), which, as I said, aims to control the entire Arab and Islamic region."
